Did you play with Barbies when you were younger? I sure did! I loved playing with Barbie dolls and their accessories. My favorite thing was to create different scenes for Barbie and her friends using other playsets. I would spend hours making up stories and acting them out with my Barbie dolls.

Barbie has come a long way. Finally, Mattel has brought those adventures to life with their new Barbie space discovery line! This line includes a space mission Barbie and a variety of playsets that let kids recreate scenes from their imagination. Today, we’ll be taking a closer look at the Barbie Space Discovery doll and playset.

The Space Discovery Barbie Line

Space Discovery Barbie and the additional playsets begin a partnership between Barbie and the international space station, whose mission is to encourage kids to consider STEM careers. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Each of these playsets is designed to inspire creativity with STEM learning opportunities. The line also comes with a poster that shows all the different places Barbie has been in space. There is even a special Barbie edition of the YouTube series” You Can Do Anything,” Where Barbie takes viewers on a tour of the International Space Station.

Space Discovery Barbie

Space Discovery Barbie is dressed for an intergalactic adventure in her stylish blue spacesuit. Barbie’s puppy is also included and comes with his spacesuit. This Barbie and her pup are ready to take on whatever space throws her way!

Space Discovery Playset

The playset comes with a cool spaceship with lots of fun features, like a workstation and a thumbwheel that shows several different space scenes. There are also over 20 accessories included, like a chair, laptop, microscopes, test tubes, a dog bowl, and even pretend astronaut food

Overall, we think the Barbie Space Discovery doll and playset are a great addition to any little girl’s toy collection. It’s well-made, stylish, and provides hours of fun and imaginative play. The only drawback I see is that sometimes when you open the door to the spaceship tends to fall off. So if you are a parent and don’t mind putting the door back on now and again, it’s a great playset.
