New York is known for its iconic landmarks, bustling cities, and diverse culture. It’s not only the biggest state in the United States by population size but also a manufacturing powerhouse. Many big brand names sold across the country are produced in New York. Here’s a list of seven New York-made products.

1) Allen Edmonds Shoes

Allen Edmonds is a major American manufacturer and retailer of luxury men’s footwear. All shoes are handcrafted in Port Washington, New York. Allen Edmonds has five “stand-alone” stores as well as 13 “shops within shops” at high-end department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom, Barneys New York, Holt Renfrew, and Bergdorf Goodman.

2) A-Poc Vodka

A-Poc vodka is made by Long Island Spirits in Long Island. It was recognized as the first super-premium vodka that is distilled from 100% pure New York state potatoes. It doesn’t include any additives or flavorings, and it’s gluten-free.

3) Bailey’s Chocolate Cream Liqueur

Bailey’s chocolates is a maker of gourmet chocolate and confectionery in Long Island. It is famous for its line of cream liqueurs, available in flavors such as Irish Creme, Macadamia Nut, and Hazelnut Chocolate truffle.

4) Brooklyn Lager

Brooklyn Brewery is a local brewery in the borough of Brooklyn. It started as a brewpub in 1988, and now it’s one of the best-selling craft beers in New York state and surrounding areas. “The taste is almost impossible to describe, but very easy to drink!” reads Bobo Newsom from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
